Siemens is interested in investing in infrastructure development, railway and road transport, energy and waste water processing in Serbia.
Serbian Minister of Energy and Mining Petar Skundric, Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management Sasa Dragin and Minister of Infrastructure Milutin Mrkonjic said yesterday at a meeting with a Siemens delegation that the Serbian government will support all companies that wish to invest in Serbian economy.
It was stated at the meeting held in Belgrade that Serbia has become an attractive investment destination and the numerous advantages offered to investors in Serbia were discussed.
Serbia wants a free market, competition, quick development and help from major foreign companies is needed, who will find Serbia to be a reliable partner.
The Siemens delegation presented at the occasion the company’s development strategy in Serbia and stressed that they are willing to invest and help the Serbian economy develop on the path to Europe by participating in privatisation.

The Siemens delegation also met with Serbian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Regional Development Mladjan who informed them about advantages of investing in Serbia.
