FRANKFURT (Thomson Financial) - Siemens AG. is to retain a stake in its Siemens Enterprise Communications (SEN) unit, Financial Times Deutschland reported, citing a letter by chief financial officer Joe Kaeser to SEN customers that it obtained.
'Siemens is prepared to accompany the coming transformation of the business by keeping a stake in the company in its future form,' the paper quoted from the letter.
In February, Siemens said it was planning to cut 3,800 jobs at its SEN unit, of which up to 2,000 will be in Germany.
